Welcome to the website of Island Hyperbaric Center.  It is our sincere privilege to introduce you to our center

 located to the west of Montreal on the beautiful island of Ile Perrot. This service was established to bring

 quality Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy to western Quebec, eastern Ontario and the northern United States.

Our centre provides a multi-disciplinary approach to therapeutic treatment of neurological injuries.  The clinic's

convenient access and proximity to different modes of transportation and major routes of travel provides easy

access to our services. Our staff's experience, expertise and involvement in published research

initiatives makes this center unique within North America. In the last few years, the list of conditions that have

responded to Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy has increased as physicians explore new applications of this treatment. 

Landmark research initiatives have shown reproducible,statistically significant improvements in conditions

that have previously been thought to not respond to any therapeutic efforts . The improvements seen in many cases

cannot be considered a cure, but represent significant improvement in the quality of  life for patients, which have

previously had a poor prognosis for improvement. These improvements in quality of life have positive effects on

 families. Among the allied health services offered at our center are Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT),

therapeutic massage, Padovan - a physical rehabilation program from Brazil, occupational therapy and music

therapy. We are currently expanding our service to  include the listeniing and light therapy. We are dedicated to

 providing you with the newest and most comprehensive approaches in treating neurological injuries.
